A West Hampton Garage Sale has been scheduled for Saturday, May 1. This date will coincide with the Westchase Garage Sales; understanding there will be more garage sale traffic in the area that day.
The BOD has considered the many requests it received since March of 2020 and discussed the event as a board meeting agenda item; which received no opposition. Opposition to any garage sale has been voiced by some homeowners in the past; mainly due to issues of safety, speeding, etc. In an effort to address those concerns, the BOD is seeking community volunteers, especially those with golf carts, to monitor activity during that time along with other measures to ensure a safer, more organized event. In the event there is no participation from any homes on one of our side streets, that street may be blocked with cones and a volunteer will be requested to assist homeowner access/departure during that window of time.
