There are 4 parties with vested interest in our arrival point on Reptron Road; Hillsborough County, Kimball Electronics, South Hampton, and West Hampton.
Each entity cares about their contributions to our collective arrival point; first impressions are everything.
During 2020 the unprecedented cooperation, collaboration, and communication between all four entities has created significant improvement and aesthetic enhancement for our community. For example, our HOA Board of Directors has worked diligently towards the clarification, verification, and streamlining of the shared services budget and execution of shared services between West Hampton and South Hampton. Also, as a result of our request, Hillsborough County now has Reptron Road on their future list for road re-striping and painting (to the extent of the section they oversee). They have already conducted their initial assessment. Kimball Electronics has resurfaced their parking lots, enhanced landscaping, and recently cleared the large lake at our arrival point off Racetrack Road by removing the very large moving island of natural debris, continuing to clear and clean up the lake banks, and plan to install a water aeration feature in the future so it doesn’t reappear. This will improve the look of our entrance immensely.
At our own West Hampton entrance, we have repaired sidewalks, repaired, replaced, and installed irrigation systems, repaired the camera and rewired the electrical box, cleaned vegetation and debris from the conservation area, installed landscape lighting, cleaned up after storms, installed safety signage, cleaned road signs, trimmed trees and will complete a full landscaping plan this month. We will have our best foot forward for the holiday season!
